I know this wasn't a feature of the iPhone os 3.0 software but come on, how hard is it to make the home screen orientate itself with portrait/landscape? I mean you have given us the landscape keyboard and landscape native applications but now if your using in landscape you have to keep turning your phone back to portrait to navigate through your apps!
If like me you use loads of different apps, its now even more likely what with copy and paste functionality you will get very tired very quickly of having to do this, I am already, and all I was doing was trying to get used to the landscape keyboard.
Sort it out Apple, i can feel the RSI coming on already, even if it's just a rotation of the icons so you can read them, it's a step in the right direction!!!
I have also just noticed that search does not rotate either so you can't use the landscape keyboard there, probably as it is an extension of the home screen???
